Twelve months ago, who would have thought that one short year later we’d be binning our skinny jeans (or at least putting them away in the wardrobe) and swapping them for good old flares. And faded flares at that!

But, after Christopher Kane sent swathes of bleached denim down his spring/summer runway and Kate Moss started wearing bootcuts, this is exactly what’s happened. Now every celeb from here to LaLa Land is wearing flares, and the likes of Agyness Deyn and Cheryl Cole have pioneered the pale denim trend.

And then, of course, there’s the denim queen herself – Victoria Beckham – who’s added a line of pale, flared jeans to her dVb range. And aren’t they just the perfect pair? Skinny fit up top with a perfectly proportioned kick to them, they feature Mrs. Beckham’s signature star design on the pockets.
