The phrase “till death do us apart” might feel very odd. These days people get a divorce all the time, media gossips about what celebrity couple just broke up and Paris Hilton Changes boyfriend just as often that I change my underwear.

You can’t help wondering just where we lost the sparkle.

 

We expect love to look like old days but the truth is that the world has changed and so has the relationships and love In general.

Till death do us apart is a beautiful tradition and there are people that rather jump from mount Everest than giving up their hopes on this phrase. Statistics show that a long lasting relationship is easier said than done.

 

This relationship model might not sound appealing at all because we often associate contracts with coercion and rules, but in this case it’s different.

 

The starting point for this relationship model is that you have to put a lot of work in to keeping love alive. Many people accept everything to be perfect from the beginning and they put more energy on cleaning their wardrobe than working on their relationship.

That’s where the 5yearcontract comes in. The idea is that both parts sit down and formulates what they want their relationship to be like though 5 years of time and what goals they want to reach. For a lot of people it might feel stupid to write down all their thoughts and goals but that piece of contract works like a accompany in your dark moments.

When 5 years has passed its time to sit down and evaluate and write a new contract or say goodbye.
