LEIGHTON LEAGUE
Gossip Girl cutie Leighton Meester looks preppy pretty on the set of her hit CW drama, which is filming at Columbia University in the Upper West Wide neighborhood of New York City on Monday august 18th. Although, her jean shorts look a wee bit short on her!
2. Gossip Girl Enrolls At Columbia University
The cast of Gossip Girl takes over New York City Ivy League school, Columbia University, to film scenes for the upcoming season of their hit CW drama on Monday august 18th.
If you want to stalk Leighton Meester, Blake Lively and Ed Westwick, they’re filming outside Lewisohn Hall and Earl Hall (on Broadway, north of 116th Street and west of Low Library). Filming will continue at “a bar on Amsterdam” later today, according to Bwog.
SPOILER ALERT: It looks like Chuck Bass (Westwick) must endure some sort of fraternity hazing process. Fellow castmates were seen bagging his head! BTW, they’re filming at Columbia but they’re really “at Yale”.
3.Gossip Girl Fight!!!!!!
Apparently, Serena (Lively) and Blair (Meester) get into a huge fight scene in an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl.
The pair filmed this fight scene at a house in Brooklyn. There was plenty of hair-pulling, shoving and shouting!

7.Gossip Girl: A Nasty Piece of Dot Dot Dot
Stylin’ costars Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen walk the streets on the New York City set of their hit CW show, Gossip Girl.
The show’s latest racy ads have been defaced in subway stations in Manhattan by the “infamous subway ad artist.” Check it out at Gothamist.com. S/he changed the quote from “A Nasty Piece of Work” to “A Nasty Piece of S—”. Sweet, huh?
Leighton told Access Hollywood that she loves the ads (the originals, not the defaced ones): “I think that it’s smart and it’s fine and it’s cool.”
“They’re very smart,” added costar Chace Crawford. “Everybody keeps saying they’re so racy, of course they’re racy, but you say they’re smart.”
8. Fashion Faceoff: Herve Leger Dress
Blake Lively showed off her curves in Herve Leger’s bandage tank dress in silver/gunmetal while filming Gossip Girl in New York City last week (July 15-August 1). The 20-year-old actress finished off her look with matching t-strap peep-toes. Last March, Jenna Jameson wore a longer version of the same doubled-up shoulder straps dress at the unveiling of her […]
9. Gossip Girl Couch Potatos
The cast of Gossip Girl (sans Ed Westwick) lounges around like couch potatoes on a sofa at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards held at Gibson Amphitheater august 1th in Los Angeles.
Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Blake Lively and Mr. Westwick have six more reasons to say OMG. They picked up SIX surfboards at the TCAs for Choice TV Show Drama, Choice TV Breakout Show, Choice TV Actress Drama (Lively), Choice TV Breakout Star Female (Lively), Choice TV Breakout Star Male (Crawford) and Choice TV Villain (Westwick).
“I feel like I’m still a teenager because I’m perpetually in high school,” Chace said in the press room after winning for Choice Breakout Star. “And I’m 23.”
